At Springwood Cottages we are regularly maintaining and upgrading our property and cottages. We feel that you deserve a quality cottage that you are going to feel safe and comfortable in. You will find below a list of the upgrades and renovations done so far this year. As new items are done, they will be posted for all to view.

 Renovation addition changes and improvements

Cottage 2 A has a private 16 by 16 260 square foot baloney very private surrounded by a canopy of trees.

Cottage 3 was completely reinsulated and new drop ceilings have been add in the bathroom Kitchen and living room, to keep the cottage cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, and also with the steel roof in the living room it became totally quieter now…J

Cottage 6 received an extreme make over we add a huge deck 260 square feet overlooking the beach and Kennebec lake it is among 100 year old trees underneath their canopy ….As for the cottage new roof windows doors a huge family room was add, also a new complete bathroom with a shower and also it is now a Three bedroom not a two any more, open concept Kitchen with fresh cedar tongue and grove threw out the cottage it is a site to see …..And endless list of improvements to much to list J basically come and enjoy

Cottage 12 completely redone again the whole cottage has been reinsulated for better comfort in the summer so it is cooler and the winter warmer...A new drop ceiling in the living room, the Kitchen hall way and bathroom finished in tongue and grove cedar wood, it also has a new bathroom with a shower..

Center deck has been doubled in size with running water a sink and a fridge ,more cooking space and more setting space have been add due to the growing demand of all our gourmet barbeque chefs that visit our resort….

Cottage 9 has a new bathroom with a shower …….

Cottage 10 has a new family room and a shower has been adding more details will be posted in the near future with more details ….

 Our new Log cabin perched up on a hill surrounded by a forest 2 storey open concept 12 by 12 inch logs off white pine 30 feet long A true Canadian beauty has a large deck that over looks the lake …it will become our flag ship cottage of the resort with all the luxury amentias that our quest require…

AND OUR GREATEST ADDITION FOR 2008

Due to our growing demands for our resort and we currently have bookings to 2010….
To avoid over crowding and over development of our resort , and also offer a outstanding service to our guest and friends we have build three more cottages that are on Kennebec lake on the Eastern North shore …….The three new cottages are all different sizes and offer different amentias at great introductory rates ……..for 2008 they are all perched up on a hill in a very private setting all with a private driveway they are roughly 500 feet away from the water. They all have a deeded access to waterfront ….the three cottage are a 3 minute drive from springwood or a 15 minute boat ride …they face south and get sun all day …also the properties back onto a private forest with trails through out for all your nature hikes and adventures ….
